In celebration of DynaVap's 10th Anniversary, grab a Limited Edition Anniversary Captive Cap, along with early access to an upcoming new product: Cap Armor.

CAP ARMOR DESCRIPTION

Upgrade your extraction experience with Cap Armor, a precision-machined stainless steel sleeve designed to enhance the performance of any DynaVap Captive Cap. Created as a modular alternative to the Armored Cap, Cap Armor adds significant mass and heat retention while letting you keep using the Cap you already love.

Simply snap Cap Armor over your compatible Captive Cap to enjoy longer heat cycles, smoother extractions, and improved thermal consistency without having to rotate your device while heating with a torch.

FEATURES
  • Modular Performance Upgrade - A separate, precision-machined stainless steel sleeve that clicks onto any Captive Cap for an instant boost in mass
  • Enhanced Heat Retention - Added thermal mass smooths out and simplifies heating, extends cycles, and improves extraction control
  • Precision Fit - Engineered to snap securely over the Captive Cap’s upper crimp area while maintaining cap adjustability and airflow
  • Full Extractions - achievable in 1-2 heat cycles
COMPATIBILITY
  • Captive Caps in good condition
NOT RECOMMENDED FOR USE WITH
  • Non-Captive Caps
  • Dented Caps
  • PVD-coated Caps
  • Special Edition engraved Caps
HOW TO USE

Installing Cap Armor:
Gently press a compatible Captive Cap into the Cap Armor until you hear an audible click. This is best done with the Captive Cap on an assembled device.

Removing Cap Armor:
Remove the Cap Armor from the Cap while installed on a tip. Hold the digger-outer with your thumb against the tip and gently wiggle and pull the Cap Armor off the Cap. This will allow the Cap Armor to separate without excessive force.

NOTES

Due to the nature of its press fit design, minor dents or impressions on the upper crimp of the Captive Cap are possible. This is normal and will not affect function of either part.
